Training for Strolling Jim: Week One

Weekly Mileage: 37 miles (highest weekly mileage since August)
Highlights:
I felt very comfortable throughout Saturday’s long run.
Recovery went well throughout the week. I got 8-10 hours of sleep 6 out of 7 nights and 12 hours on Saturday night (I guess that’s what happens when I do my long run later in the day). Also, I actually did some foam rolling (who am I?).
Areas for Improvement:
Mid-week mid-distance run needs to be Wednesday or Thursday, which may not be realistic this week with Christmas and Christmas Eve.
Although recovery went well, I really need to incorporate more stretching.
