
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
ACE Certified Personal Trainer
As a kid, I was very athletic, but, as I got older, college and a social life took priority. In 2016, I started training for a half marathon and rediscovered my love of being active. As I increased mileage, developed speed, and built strength, my confidence grew.
Over the next year, I lost fifty pounds. Since that first half marathon, I've run six other half marathons, two full marathons, and too many to count 5Ks and 10Ks.
In 2019, I became a certified person trainer to help others discover or re-discover the benefits of living actively. As a high school teacher and literacy coach over the last (almost) decade, I have a toolbox full of strategies to teach a variety of individuals, whether it's about writing a thesis statement or building core strength.
My mission is to help everyone build strength to boost confidence.
